My new nonfiction challenge--editing spokane coeur d'alene living

A lovely nonfiction publisher saved my life during Covid-19 when I couldn't do school visits to help pay my bills. Just as their assignments dwindled, I was given the opportunity to edit this beautiful Pacific Northwestern magazine. I've helped create the January/February 2023 issue, the March/April 2023 issue and the May/June 2023 -- so far.
The first issue was a Wedding cover. The second was an Easter egg art cover. And this cover features jewelry designer for the stars, and Spokane native, Melinda Maria Spigel. The Spokane Indians will be our next cover, in honor of baseball's "Boys of Summer."
We are a skeleton crew, but we all work so hard to offer a fun, readable magazine and vehicle for advertisers hoping to reach intelligent customers. We're working on July/August now and I hope it launches on time. Until then, here are a few of the articles I wrote for the May/June 2023 issue.
