Six memorable months of editing spokane coeur d'alene living 2023
A lovely nonfiction publisher saved my life during Covid-19 when I couldn't do school visits to help pay my bills. Just as they folded, I got to edit this beautiful magazine for six months--three/four issues: January/February 2023, March/April 2023 and the May/June 2023, July/August 2023.
Sadly, there was no funding to print the July/August 2023 issue. But it was completed and you can see the final digital layout at this LINK.
The first cover story was weddings. Second, Easter art by Spokane artists. Third, jewelry designer for the stars and Spokane native, Melinda Maria Spigel. Last, the Spokane Indians. We were a skeleton crew, but we all worked so hard. I am sad to see it end, but proud of what we created.
A few examples are featured below.
