Kerry and Vanessa
In February of 1981, I married a bad guy. It was a bad decision, but it gave me two great gifts. My daughters, Kerry and Vanessa.
Kerry was born on November 20, 1982. Vanessa was born seven years later, on March 1, 1990.
We started a new, better life in 1999 when we moved from Longmont, Colorado to Spokane, Washington. It was the best choice we ever made.
I am so incredibly proud of the brilliant young women (30 and 22) they have become. I don't take credit for that. In so many ways, they raised me. But I do take credit for loving them more than anything in the world. That, like so little else, will never, ever change.
