Cover letter

Dear Crash Course,

I was a weird kid growing up.  Curious beyond measure and determined to find the answers to questions that drove me mad.  Little did I know that need for information would drive my work as an adult. I'm as curious now as I was as a child.

Today, I admit, I am no spring chicken. I've been a publishing pro for going on 30 years now.  But with that age comes vast experience, tenacity and a devotion to all things remarkable. I work hard and I produce stellar results. I can't imagine doing anything else.  As my father always said, "If you're gonna do it, do it right."

I am a fan of Crash Course. So I'm hoping I'm a good candidate for your editorial positions--editor or freelance writer.  If you'd like to explore that potential further, I'm at your service.  If not, I hope you'll keep me in mind for other work.  I'd love nothing more than to contribute to all things  DFTBA.  And I think I might just be a good fit.

Best wishes,

Kelly Milner Halls
